The Tuskegee Airmen: Databases

Search Tips

  • The Basic Search function on most databases is a keyword search.  Remember, you can link multiple keywords by the connector terms:  AND, OR, NOT.
  • It helps to put an exact phrase in quotes when searching it, example:  "Tuskegee Airmen", or "World War II".  Its also useful to do so with people's first and last names, for example "Benjamin Davis".

Locate articles using these online databases!  If you are off campus, you will be asked to type in the14 digit barcode number located on the back of your library card/student ID.
