Canadian Rockies: Home

Welcome!

The Canadian Rockies are the Canadian segment of the North American Rocky Mountain Range. The 3,000 miles that make up the Rocky Mountains stretch from New Mexico, USA to British Columbia, Canada. The Canadian Rockies is approximately 910 miles long with a maximum elevation of 12,972 feet. Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, Yoho, and the Waterton Lakes are the five national parks located in the Canadian Rockies.

In this Subject Guide, you will find links to information on the Canadian Rockies as well as Canada in general as well as its people, and culture. It is not meant to be exhaustive, but is here to give you an idea of the history and current conditions of the region.
